I am pleased to announce that there is a new version of Meeting Schedule Assistant now available.
What’s New
This latest version includes two new features.
Dark Mode
We are pleased to announce that Meeting Schedule Assistant now supports a dark mode! Microsoft Windows offers two primary colour modes — light and dark — that can help reduce eye strain and enhance readability based on your environment.
The available options are:
- Automatic: Adopts the colour mode specified in your Windows settings.
- Light: Provides a bright, clean appearance, ideal for well-lit environments.
- Dark: Features a darker interface that is easier on the eyes in low-light conditions.
Light mode is the default setting. Note that system windows (such as file dialogs) always display using the operating system’s colour mode.
Some of the built-in reports have been updated to include a special dark mode media query. This causes the chosen report to display in dark mode, but still print in the normal way. Here is an example:
A similar concept can be used with any other report in the software.
Assign Memorial Emblem Prayers
You can now assign the brothers to offer prayers over the Memorial emblems:
Bugs Fixed
Every aspect of the software had to be reviewed for implementing dark mode and it raised some bugs in the software:
- Meeting Times: Updating the Special Events database caused meeting times to display incorrectly in the Meeting Editor.
- Schedule Types: Fixed critical bug with deleting a Schedule Type.
