I am pleased to announce that there is a new version of Meeting Schedule Assistant now available.
Table of Contents
What’s New
A minor improvement has been made to several windows that allowed you to delete items from a list. You can now use the Del key on the keyboard. These windows are affected by this improvement:
- Custom Assignments Manager (delete the selected custom assignment)
- Customize Lists (delete the selected entry from the Customize Lists window)
- Publishers Database (delete selected publisher)
- Special Events Manager (delete selected special event)
- Reminders (delete the selected reminder)
New Custom Template
One advantage of using Meeting Schedule Assistant is its customizable template scripting feature. This means that you can format the schedules and reports in any way that you would like. And, in addition, you can pull together any information that you would like (even from external third-party data).
I recently wrote a new custom template (Student Assignment History — Counsel).
This custom report can be used with the Meeting Editor and displays the history for each student in the Publisher Database.
Why did I write this script? I did so because the Meeting Workbook provides the assigned counsel points for us. So it can be hard to keep a note of which counsel points a student has worked on.
This report shows you which counsel points they have not done. So when you see a student item in the workbook with that counsel point, this student would be a good candidate (if the material is suitable).
I welcome your feedback about this custom report! You can find a feedback form on the aforementioned link (scroll to the bottom).
Bugs Fixed
Two bugs have been fixed in this version:
- Fixed an issue with adding a publisher to the Publishers Database.
- Fixed an issue with setting the special event type on the Special Events manager.
