I am pleased to announce that there is a new version of Meeting Schedule Assistant now available.
What’s New
This latest version includes some minor bug fixes, updated translations and new features. For example, songs #120 and #136 are now available in Punjabi. Read on to find out more about the new features.
Sync to Online Calendar
Update Google / Outlook Calendar has been improved in the Midweek Editor.
The second radio option has been renamed from Single Week to Selected Weeks. This means you can select any combination of weeks and they will all get synced to the online calendars.
This comes in really use if you had to swap some assignments between meetings and they were not consecutive.
Automatic Assigning
The Midweek Editor now has a new Auto Assign tool! This feature has been implemented to simplify the process and reduce the amount of time involved in making schedules.
The linked help topic provides an overview of how the Auto Assign tool works. It includes a Settings window to allow you to fine-tune how the Auto Assign tool will work.
Please Note
The tool does not support the automatic assignment of Students, but it does allow you to populate all other assignments on the Midweek Meeting. Also, it does not currently support the Weekend Meeting.
As you can see from the screenshot of the Settings window, you can:
- Set the order of priority for working through the assignments.
- Specify which assignments to include.
- Indicate if you would like to try and avoid conflicts.
- Opt in to display the Select Starting Names window at the beginning of the process.
- Confirm which weeks to process.
Please let us know what you think of this new tool.
