I am pleased to announce that there is a new version of Public Talks now available.
What’s New
A feature request was recently discussed in the Support Forum. We have now added two new Miscellaneous fields to the Home Talks database table. These can be assigned on the Home Talk Entry window:
You can customise the label text on the Preferences window:
You can also default these new assignments to <None> for new database records in the Preferences:
These new database fields are currently not available on any of the standard reports but you can include them with the Custom Report Script Editor:
Supported Operating Systems
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
Deprecated Operating Systems
These operating systems are no longer supported:
- Windows 7 (Service Pack 1)
- Windows 8.1
You can still download the last supported version of Public Talks (which was 23.0.1) from here. But this version is no longer maintained. You are encouraged to use version 23.0.2 or higher.
You can also upgrade by using the Check for Update feature from the Help menu (if you have not been a beta tester).
I should clarify that the screen shot included above is for changing the Summary Info order and visibility. You set the label text on the Other Settings preferences window.
